At the end of the Anomalous project, started exactly two years ago with the publication of the homonymous album, Rohmanelli, an Italian resident in Brazil, returns to the origins of his artistic career. “Fanatismi”, the fifth EP of the series, is entirely composed of songs in Italian, including “Soprano” featuring Cassiano Fagundes which dates back to the era when both were part of the alternative rock band Vita Balera, a multicultural trio born in Florianópolis, in Brazil, in 2014: Rohmanelli, Italian; Fagundes, Brazilian and Jeronimo Gonzalez, Argentine. The new material will be premiered on July 4th at a party at the BECO in São José.
During the event the lyric video of the new song “Compassion” and also the new photoshoot will be exhibited, both realized by the photographer and filmmaker Antonio Rossa. The new EP also contains the other unpublished “Il Tempo è Insufficiente”, a version of “Estate” by Bruno Martino that was already recorded by João Gilberto, Chet Baker and Plácido Domingo, in addition to “Fanatismi” (in two versions, edit and remixed.) The Belgian composer and producer van der Goes and Cassiano Fagundes are also participating in this project. According to the artist the recording of this EP fulfills an express request from its audience.
– Because of being Italian and because people love my production in Italian, they asked me to do an EP of songs only in my mother tongue. So I collected some unpublished works, remixes and versions to close this phase of the Anomalous Transmix project. I also included a duet with Cassiano Fagundes in a classic Italian song, which I renamed “Odio l’Estate”, with an electropop and punk arrangement. Closed this phase, from the second semester I will release totally new material to which I’m working on.
Among the next projects there are in fact collaborations with national and international artists of the rap and rock scene.
